Sacramental Preparation
Registration forms and information pamphlets for next year’s Sacramental Preparation programs will be made available in the pamphlet rack at the Hospitality Desk in September.
Please Note: Dismissal for The Liturgy of the Word for all Sacramental Preparation groups takes place directly after the Opening Prayer of the Mass. Participants are invited to stay with their parents for the Introductory Rite of the Mass, then be dismissed with their group when they are invited to come forward. They will return to Mass and rejoin their parents at the time of the Offertory.
Preparation for First Reconciliation is finished.
Thanks to everyone who participated in our Preparation classes for First Reconciliation. 21 people participated. We encourage you all to make use of the Sacrament of Reconciliation frequently. The Church teaches us to go to Confession at least once a year - and if we have freely done something that we knew was wrong at the time, we need to go as soon as possible.
Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is finished.
Congratulations to all who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on April 11th, and thank you to everyone who helped out with the Retreat, the Mass, and the Reception. If you forgot to pick up your Certificate at the Reception, you can get it from the Church office during office hours. They will not be mailed.
Preparation for First Holy Communion is finished.
Congratulations to the 35 children who received First Holy Communion on May 30th, and thank you to everyone who helped out with the Retreat, the Mass, and the Reception. If you forgot to pick up your Certificate at the Reception, you can get it from the Church office during office hours. They will not be mailed.
If you are an adult seeking the Sacraments for yourself, please contact our RCIA facilitator, or make an appointment through the office at 403-252-2790 to see a priest. Office hours are 9:00 am to noon and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
